Trying to Reclaiming space from deduplication folder, its always busy!

Hi, i'm trying to reclame some space from my deduplication folder, I followed the TECH130103, but I'm not sure if its really working!

I've done the crcontrol --processqueue, and the crcontrol --processqueueinfo show yes to busy and pending.

But its been over a month that its busy!!

There's almost no backup running (we are switching to a new backup solution), and I can see the older backup sets being remove but the disk stay almost full.

Is there a way to speed up the process?

The server is a Dell PowerEdge R720xd with 64GB memory (Windows 2008R2 64Bits), and the HD is a Dell Powervault external storage.

I can see the transaction in the storaged.log, then its building the index and then there's new transaction running.

crstats --convert-size give me:

Info [00000000021C9E20]: set log options successfully.
Info [00000000021C9E20]: collecting statistics data ...
Info [00000000021C9E20]: Server is Version 6.5.0.0, Protocol Version 6.6.1
Info [00000000021C9E20]: collecting statistics data was complete
Storage Pool Raw Size=24.6TB
Storage Pool Reserved Space=1.2TB
Storage Pool Size=23.4TB
Storage Pool Used Space=7.5TB
Storage Pool Available Space=15.8TB
Catalog Logical Size=62.8TB
Catalog files Count=10389
Space Used Within Containers=22.6TB
Deduplication Ratio=8.9

Is this normal, so I just have to wait?

thank you

Eric.

Well, I had to write this thread to make it work.

I've restarted the services, and this time the busy and pending was back to no!

I've done a compactstart, and it work.
