Hello,
on one of our servers (Windows 2003 Small Business Server, IBM x3200 4362-E2G) i'm stuck on a problem with Backup Exec 11d (Version 7170 with SP3). After reinstalling the application i can't select resources to backup. The assistant just displays the error message "Connection with server failed. Hit <F5> to retry". I tested reinstalling Backup Exec 11d, but that did not remove the error.
The only hint i could find for this error was to remove the Backup Exec User from the Remote Administrators group, that did not solve our problem either. I tried a different User, which is only a member of the administrator groups, to run the backup with the same results.
I would appreciate any help very much.
