We have a problem with one of the drives in our second Tandberg TDS1440 robotic device showing up as Unknown device. Both the Robot and the drive itself shows up in the Windows 2000 Hardware Device-list. The drives we use are SLR100/140's, and one of the two robots hooked up to the computer works perfectly.
I have noticed, though, that Event ID 9 is showing in the eventlog on the Server, but the procedures outlined in the topic How to troubleshoot issues with a Robotic Library or Tape Drive in Backup Exec 9.x and 10.x found on http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/255501.htm does NOT help in solving this.
More info:
Server hardware is a Dell Poweredge 850, running a PERC4/DC RAID-card (not recommended, but it's the only one we've currently got), with two Tandberg TDS1440 Backup enclosures hooked up to it (one on each port of the 4/DC-controller). TDS1440 no. #1 has three drives (two SLR100's, one SLR140, currently functioning perfectly). TDS1440 no.#2 has one drive (SRL140, shown as unknown device by BENT)
Ran a BEdiag on it, and here is a snippet and the only thing I do NOT understand (in bold):
Device IDs 1009, {8B053DEF-EBF7-443E-9578-F941DCFFB87E}

Any help on this topic will be greatly appreciated =)
