Verita Backup exec 10 rev5484 , Can not delete duplicate backup sets job

Dear all


I have got a problem to delete from job menu a duplicate backup set job! Is there any mode to remove it from job menu if the delete command is operabile,but does not makes the delete!I dont want to reinstall if there is any solution! The logs and databases are stored in on a different sql server! Is there a mode to delete this job from sql tables, if its stored there?

Have you deleted the Base Job?

What error do you get while trying to delete the job.

Hi

Yes , i have deleted the base jobs and all the jobs!And if i delete the base job, this duplicate backup set job is immediately links to another job! But when there are no jobs are remained only this duplicate set you can not delete it too!There is no error code while i am trying to delete this job, only blinks one time and the job still remains there!

I made it but the duplicate job sets are still in! When this utility has finished repairing ,the last message was " the repair has finished succesfully with errors"! Is there a log to view it?

If you have deleted the Base Job, it is difficult to get rid of the Duplicate now.

You can try to run a repair Installation:

Did support give you an answer for this? If yes, can you post what you did to resolve this problem. I have exactly the same symptoms. I have been unable to find the solution anywhere.
