We did pay for the AOFO but how can we obtain a copy of it and install it

I believe my company did pay for the AOF and my colleague thought we already downloaded and had it installed in our server, somehow I could not find it anywhere in the program folder I need to know how can we obtain a copy of the application?

Hi Theodore,

To install AOFO, perform the following steps:

1. Launch Backup Exec for Windows Servers console (assuming you're using Windows)
2. Click TOOLS menu, then select 'SERIAL NUMBERS AND INSTALLATION'
3. Click NEXT
4. Accept the default of 'Additional Options', click NEXT
5. Enter the serial number of the AOFO that was given to you by Veritas, click NEXT then follow the steps from that point to finish installation.
6. Server will require a reboot.

I just found that the AOFO we purchased last August is version 9.1, will it work on Backup Exec 10 or 10.X or can we get an upgrade of the AOFO?

We found that the AOFO needs to be the same version as the Backup Exec.
