automated back up using backup exec 2010

Hi,

I have been tasked to manage the back up process at work using backup exec, but I am relatively new it.

I am pretty sure there is a way to do this, but I havn't been able to find enough info on how to do this.

we're currently using backup exec to backup, ad, exchange, file servers, etc, and  the back up process is done manually every week.

Per management , that needs to be automated .

so  my question is that how does automated back up work with back up exec?

Is it supported at all?

anyone now a step by step guide on how to go about doing that?

Thanks in advance.

When you set up a job, you can set the schedule when it is run e.g. you can set it to run every Saturday at 9 p.m..  This is how you automate your backups.  For further details, consult the Admin Guide which can be found in the BE installation directory.
