I had upgraded to this version a couple of days ago and after some times struggling, it works finally.
we use small library tape and i created three days differential backup and weekend fullbackup.
my question is:
how to use same tape to backup three differential backup? because every day, it only backup less 10 Gb data and our tape is 200Gb. so i don't need to replace frequently.

Hello,

In this case we need to partition the library and target the differential backup on the a single partition...

For Example : If you want to backup the jobs in a single TAPE which is in Slot-1, partition accordingly and target the jobs to partition-1 in the Devices and Media option in the job setup....

Make sure that TAPE is appendable.....

Just to add to what Dev T said You need to configure the media set as well which had append period of three days or as per you need .
IF you have the Correct media set setup with Overwrite -protection period and append period then you just need to configure the differential job to append to media and ovewrite if no appendable media  found ...

DevT is partially correct.

You need to make the first job that will run (the FULL?) overwrite, and the others (the DIFFs?) APPEND.  Write them both/all to the same media set with an APP of 5 days and an OPP that meets your criteria
