Hello,

I would like to know if you are facing this problem for all the medias or a specific media ?

However, in the meanwhile, you can update the latest drivers available for Backup Exec v9.1. Please refer to the link mentioned below:

VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 - Device Driver Installer (20050115) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20041231) and Robotic Library Release (45) (Intel Only)
http://support.veritas.com/docs/273853

After installing the drivers, check if the problem persists.

Regarding the firmware of the drive, you need to contact the manufacturer and check if the firmware needs to be updated. If so then please do so.

Please feel free to revert if still problem persists.

Regards.
