reinstall 9.0 or upgrade to 9.1?

I have a veritas version 9.0 for Windows that was previously installed on a Windows 2000 server. I had to uninstall the software because my boot drive was running out of space. Can I reinstall the software on the network drive (73 GB SCSI drives in Raid 1 configuration) or should I add another drive outside of the array and install Veritas back on. I am using an internal Dell DLT tape drive with the software. My free space on the boot drive is about 200 MB.

Also, is the upgrade to 9.1 a free upgrade and what additional features or fixes are solved from this upgrade? Server is a Dell PowerEdge 2600 with 512 MB RAM, a 4GB boot drive, RAID1 array 73GB SCSI, MDAC 2.82, SQL version 8.0.

Yes, v9.1 is a free upgrade for v9.0 users. You will need to upgrade any RemoteAgents that you may have deployed

No major differences, to speak of, just a later base, with some extra Fixes not in v9.0

It is a little late now, but you could have just moved the \Catalogs directory rather than removing the whole install of BackupExec. See http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/264680.htm
