Dear Sir/Madam,
I have few tapes which backuped with Netbackup 6 (linux). I would like to know, is it possible restore these netbackup tapes by backup exec 2012 ?
Please reply urgently.

I doubt that will be supported or even work. I found this technote where it mentions about Backup Exec tapes to be read in Netbackup but that is for older version too.

Backup Exec writes and read the data from tape in Microsoft Tape Format (MTF) and I am pretty sure Netbackup uses some different format. So I do not think Backup Exec will be able to read the data written by Netbackup.

NBU writes tapes in a modified TAR format.
BackupExec writes in the MTF (Microsoft Tape Format)
He speaks Greek, you speak english.. Not gonna happen.
NBU used to be able to import BE tapes, but that has ceased with the latter releases of 7.x. Looks like they will forever be individual seperate products.
