synthetic backup

We are evaluating v-ray edition 2012.

I would like to use the synthetic backup feature, which is included in advanced disk-based backup option.

Is it included in v-ray edition 2012, or I have to purchase it separetly?

Hi Savino,

I checked the BE 2012 agents and options *.pdf, and it lists that ESO is part of the V-Ray Edition. In turn ESO includes the ADBO option which allows synthetic backups.

ESO itself is licensed which would give you ADBO and synthetic backups.

If you need confirmation, it'd then best to contact the licensing department themselves.

I hope that you are not thinking of synthetic backups for your VM backups because synthetic backups is only for files/folders.
