start 6800 running Solaris 9 and veritas 3.5 HA clustering.

hastatus -sum displays Start|partial and Stop|partial on 2 different group states. I've tried clearing, and switching the resources but still receive resource is either onlining or offlining is there a correction needed possibly in the mai.cf or types.cf files? or something simpler to run?

Mike,
Have you checked these two technotes about embedded spaces and use of full pathname?

After defining a Share resource type in a service group with VI Editor, the service group hangs while onlining, waiting for the newly added Share resource to come online.

VERITAS Cluster Server (tm) reports application resources online after the resource has faulted.
