2 Enterprise Vault Directories

I have a question. Is there a way to make another Enterprise Vault Directory in SQL so I could have a "main directory at 2 sites instead of having 1 directory for 2 sites?

There is no way to merge enterprise vault systems at present, which i think is what your asking for

You can add both systems into MMC for example so you can manage both systems from one place. There are other things you can also do to help the systems communicate with each other.

What is driving this need (other than it obviously makes sense to do ), is there particular pain?

We have 2 sites, with 5 EV servers, 3 at one site and 2 at another. We have a SQL server at both sites but only one EV Directory. We run into comm problems and most of the time it takes a while to open up an archived email. I was just wondering if it could be done to help speed up performance.

So you have 1 directory and two ev sites. You want to seperate them as opposed to join them together. Right?

Yes 1 directory 2 sites. Would like for each site to have its own EV Directory.
