Hi Archive explorer does not show user icons(inbox, send items, calendar) on archiving explorer. I’ve check the permissions, everything is fine. Anyone know what might be the problem.

Hello Themba,

I assume you mean to see that you do not see EV icons in AE or VV.

This is by design. These 2 are representing the content of the archive, so you do want to see 'normal' Outlook icons.

When checking in Outlook mailbox itself, you should see the icons (if you use shortcuts)

If this is not the answer, can you explain further what you mean?

I *think* what he means is that under his second Mailbox "Seragie", that there are no folders shown...

Themba, can you describe more exactly what your problem/question is?

Seragie is the one that has a problem on AE. There is no icons. Everything is fine on outlook.

Do you have "folder visible" rights to the mailbox level of that mailbox/archive?

Hello Themba,

First thing to check is the permissions on the archive of Seragie.

Open console, find the archive, doubleclick, goto tab 'permissions'.

do you see what you expect?

If not, have seragie add users with rights to the mailbox, or do it in AD. Synchronize mailbox in EV, and make sure to select 'folders and permissions'.

I gave Seragie and Evadmin ownership of Seragie mailbox and i Synchronize Seragie mailbox. I still dont see icon on AE.
