Backing up Cluster Enterprise Vault Server

I am planning to use BackupExec 12.5 to backup our VCS cluster enterprise vault server. The configuration will eb active/passive. Do I need to install backupexec agent for enterprise vault on the both nodes ?

Yes, as which ever node BE tries to backup will need the agent installed
