Block Modification of Vault cache size

Hello All,

Do you know if it's possible to lock the modification of the vault cache size?
Actually, vault cache is enabled automatically and the parameters to set the initial size and to hide setup wizard are set in the desktop policy but I didn't find any setting in the policy to block the modification of this parameter.

Thanks,

Okay, I found it.

You have two choices...  Policy :

... untick, on the users desktop policy, either or both of "Vault Cache Options" and "Vault Cache Details".

After synchronising the mailbox settings, the user will see :

... or registry keys.

The registry keys on the client are OVOptionsVisible, and OVDetailsVisible, they're DWORDS, they're not there by default, and if you want to disable the UI, set them to 0.

that option does not appear to be available if you use the HTTP client

Okay so if you are hiding the setup wizard, and enabling automatically then end users can't change it, without going to the Options tab :

Is it that you want to stop/hide/remove?

Yes the HTTP client is in use ( Outlook 2010 and SEV 9.0.1)

Rob, yes it's from this options tab that i would like to block/grey disk usage modification.

I am sure there was the intention at the design of EV 8 to be able to do this. It might have been something which was later dropped. I will have a dig around on Monday to see what I can find
