Greetings everyone,
I've recently inherited a problem and I've done my due diligence by purusing these forums; I've yet to find a solution. My experience with Enterprise Vault is limited but I believe I've gathered all the facts.
Here is my scenario:
We're running EV 9.0 and archiving Exchange (2010) mailboxes to Centera. We are NOT replicating (I understand that this is not best practice but please excuse that for this scenario) and I understand that we should 'Remove safety copies immediately after archive' . However, when this was initially configured, it was done so incorrectly in that 'Remove safety copies' was set to 'after backup'. Needless to say, we have some items in a 'pending' state. My question is how is this to be remedied after the fact? Obviously we have a persisting critical item in Status:
It is more than 1 days since some partitions were scanned to check for newly-archived items that have not been backed up or replicated.
How can I remove these safety copies and get our status back to normal? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
RML

i'll PM you what should be done as I'd rather not people see a solution that should only be used in very specific controlled circumstances
