Disable email archiving for individual user

Dear All,

Would you please advise what is the procedure to disable email archiving for user ?

What I think is :

1) Disable in Enterprise Vault (Grant right for other user who want to access the archive)

2) Disable / delete user mailbox in Exchange (Not sure)

3) Disable / delete user account in Windows

Please advise.

For example, I would like to disable a Windows account which is mailbox enabled.

I think the procedure is:

1) Disable the archiving for the account in Enterprise Vault console.

2) Disable / delete user mailbox in Exchange (Not sure)

3) Disable / delete Windows account.

Please advise.

There is a button at the top of the EV admin screen named disable user. Click on the disable user and choose the Exchange server they reside on then choose the user. The user will be disabled from archiving at this point.
