EV 9 and Domino Archiving

Hi all ..

More Q's about Domino Archiving ;O)

All archiving of test users has been made with the wrong policy and archived mailboxes with replicas on users' computers are just too big!

I have changed the policy so now it is archived in the right way ..

Q:s
If the new policy archive with "message character to include = 100 instead of" ...... = 1000 "!
Does it affect the already archived items?
If it does not .. is there any way to fix it?

AFAIK it won't affect for existing archiving items. The settings will be applied to newly archived items.

I remember there was some registry setting or tool to apply the new setting to already archived items existing in archive; but that was for exchange mailbox archiving. I am not sure whether we have it for domino mailbox archiving.

Unfortunately there is no equivalent at this time in Domino mailbox archiving.
