EV8 - Total number of items awaiting backup

I'm having a issue

tsm is doing it's backup of the user store and it still says items waiting for backup

i've checked the backup tab and it's configured for archive attribute

also tsm is set to reset the flag once back up has happened.

What am i missing?

You need to either restart the Storage Service - or take EV out of Backup mode.  This will trigger a scan and clear any items awaiting backup.

So I stopped and restarted the storage servcice and it was ok.

But surely i don't have to do that everytime?

Check your backup script that sets your services to maintenance mode.

Verify that it does a restart of the services after it puts the services back into normal mode

We are running EV8 Sp1

Yes it will only perform the post processing when the storagefilewatch thread kicks in on storage service restart or the toggle of the backup mode
