Upgraded EV2007 to V8sp5 to v9. Single EV server with SQL2005sp2 on the same server doing Exchange mailbox archiving.

Everything was working fine, access to archives via Outlook & OWA, creation of vault cache and VV, archiving, etc...

After running the EV Reporting Configuration we now cannot access archives via OL or OWA.  Access via vault cache is fine.  We have full access and functionality via the WebApp.

Tried reprovisioning/sync, reinstalled V9sp1 with no effect.  Hate to open support ticket.

 

Any ideas?

Thanks for the questions and comments.  We opened the support ticket afterall.  We had a problem with SQL thrashing the disks and causeing timeouts on "everything".  After moving SQL to a different server it all calmed down and began working normally.

Did you reporting configuration change something with the default app pools for IIS?  Any errors in the IIS logs?

If you do not want to report this too us then you will have to offer up more information here. So you say you have no got access to the archives via OL (Preuming that means Outlook) or OWA. SO what errors are you getting? Are you saying that retrievals via shortcuts in the mailbox is not working and that is it?

If so can you post a client trace of an unsuccessful retrieval.
