Hello,

I would like to grant a right on all of my Domino EV archives.

I use the following script :

[Directory]
DirectoryComputerName = WBLUX001
SiteName = Evsite

[ArchivePermissions]
ArchiveName = ALL_Mailbox
GrantAccess = read write, VM-AD\Services_vault

The result is bellow.

D:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault>EVPM.EXE

Would you like to perform an Exchange or a Domino related task? [E/D]:D

Please enter the ini file name and location: C:\allrights2.ini

Processing Domino tasks ...

Parsing input file: C:\allrights2.ini

Error parsing input file: C:\allrights2.ini, error follows:(3)

1) Line number 5 : Invalid section name: [ArchivePermissions].

2) Line number 6 : Invalid keyname in the [ArchivePermissions] section: ArchiveN
.me = ALL_Mailbox

3) Line number 7 : Invalid keyname in the [ArchivePermissions] section: GrantAcc
ess = read write, VM-AD\Services_vault.

Someone can help me, please???

Thanks.

Regards.

Hi GTSLux

EVPM only works for Domino in the area of NSF Migration. As per the opening page of the Policy Manager section in the Utilites.pdf

"Note: You cannot use Policy Manager to modify or control Domino mail files or archives."

Hence why you are getting these errors. I do not believe a simple method exists to grant blanket permissions to all Domino archives, some forum followers may have come up with some smart SQL to do so, but I would suggest you open a Support case as you use case needs some consideration.

Regards

Paul

That does seem a bit strange.  Did you save the file in Unicode format?

Two things, can you attach the actual file?  Also, what version of EV?
