Enterprise Vault 10

Hi,

How can we start an archiving in Enterprise vault 10 , and this from a specific user and not an entire set of mailbox.

So only one specific user to test the archiving system.

Thx

Ced.

Hello Céd,

Conversation in English. That way, others can jump in if they see it fit.

As for the user not showing when trying to choose the mailbox:

Is it a new mailbox? Can you open it in Outlook? Is the useraccount perhaps 'disabled', or is the mailbox hidden from addressbook?

If a new mailbox, sent an email to it, verify it shows in the mailbox.

Also make sure that if you add the user to the provisioning group, you run the provisioning task in NORMAL mode, not in reportmode.

And (off-topic) I am available for on-site support :) see www.t2.nl for more information.

Regards. Gertjan

Hi Ced,

Basics!

Create a provisioning group, target only this specific user. verify auto enable, and 'archive mailboxes in this group' is selected.

Run provisioning task.

Verify mailbox is enabled (you should see an archive for this user).

Verify your schedule allows running in your test-window (ie 09:00 to 17:00 or whatever.

rightclick mailbox archiving task, select run now.

Off EV goes.

Hoi Gertjan,

Alvast dank voor jou snelle reply, maar het porbleem is dat we de specifieke user niet zien als we in enterprise vault mailbox selecteren.

Dus we zien de user niet verschijnen, en dit is wel heel raar.

Enig idee ???

Thanks

Céd.
