Hi All

I have setup a Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP4 with Exchange 2007 SP2, and with a ISA 2006 SP1 in front.
I have installed a certificate and enabled SSL on the EV server.

Users gets prompted for username and password in OWA, and Outlook anyware, when accessing EV.

How do I configure Enterprise Vault 8.0 for Single Sign On in OWA and Outlook Anyware??

Rube,
you'd have to change the policy to remove the link and then use RestoreShortcutBody

You might not be able to change this behaviour, though someone will correct me if I'm wrong! Does the authentication prompt only appear the first time you try to do anything with EV, for example opening an archived item? If so then the reason would be that there are two authentication steps that have to happen; the first when you connect to OWA/Outlook and the second when you try to access the EV server. When accessing the EV server we rely on the account details being passed directly from the client to the server, but if you are coming through an ISA and CAS server then passthrough authentication will stop the account details from being forwarded to IIS on the EV server, leading to a new prompt for authentication

How to configure Enterprise Vault (EV) integration with Outlook Anywhere using Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2006

Check out the following document for the correct steps to set up the integration and you should not be prompted for a user name and password when accessing an archived item.

It worked before I installed the certificate, using HTTP://..., now with the certificate on the EV server HTTPS://... Users get prompted.

I used the abowe linke when I configured it in the first place. And this worked fine when using HTTP. Now with a certificate using HTTPS, users get prompted. How to do?

I have unsuccessfully searched for the Symantec documentation on SSL configuration for Enterprise vault 8.0 with ISA 2006. Please let me know where to look.

How about adding the https server, to the clients intranet zone computer lists... something in the lines of
https://*.yourdomain.com

You could test this on one client and see what happens.

The link tranlation in the ISA rule was incorect, it was translating to http://... as the documantation says. I changed it to https://.. and OWA works, without any problem.

Outlook Anywhare also works if I doble click an archived Item, however if I click on the link "View the original item" I get prompted for user/psw.

As I don't need the link "View the original item" I would like to remove it, how can I do this?
