Enterprise Vault for Domino 10.0.1 iNotes Error!

Hi all,

 

The Domino version 8.5.3 with EV 10.0.1.

All users got the attached image error when they try to login to the iNotes (Web access), the refresh click doesn't make any changes! the web access is not working. But the Notes client is working very fine and all ev features is good.

Does any one see that error before? Please support.

Sorry, my mistake, I thought this was only affecting a few users but you are saying it is affecting all users?

What forms do you use to connect to iNotes?

When you run EVInstall.nsf it updates the forms databases, a list of changes can be found here:

It sounds like step 5 was skipped during configuration.

If you intend to use the Enterprise Vault search applications (integrated search and browser search) or you require iNotes/DWA, select Modify Domino Web Access Forms Files.

No, I have done this step already!

I don't know what troubleshooting to do with EV & iNotes :s But for the main time I need to rollback this action to get the iNotes work on all users.

I didn't find any uninstall or remove for the EVinstall steps? Also, what I don't understand is I didn't enabled archive for all users just 5 users why the iNotes effect on all the rest of users?

I was curious if you are still having this issue. One thing you are supposed to do after running evinstall.nsf and modifying forms is to restart the http task on the EVDG.

 

In general within EVINstall there is a document created that logs how evinstall ran.

If you could post that up here that will tell us if forms were modified correctly or if there was a problem.

 

Also when upgrading from one ev version to another you should restore the original form and delete the forms_x file. When you run evinstall it will modify the forms and create a new forms_ x file.
