Enterprise vault for exchange

Hi,

We are planning to implement Enterprise vault. I was going through the Configuration document and I have some confusion about creating forms. Permissions. 

Kindly provide me some steps to configure the EV for exchange in simple terms. what has to be configured in prior to enabling mail archiving.

You don't need to do anything with forms -- 99.9999999% of people use the option 'Deploy forms locally', and then the Outlook Add-in for EV will use it's own local forms.  The stuff about forms is mostly old school stuff back in the pre- Exchange 2003 days.

Permissions, well, that depends on your Exchange version.

So, what version of Exchange are you using? What version and service pack of EV? How many users..  It might be worth while contacting one of the many Symantec EV Partners who specialise in EV deployments to get information that is more suitable to your requirements.

In that case, you will need to run 2 PS scripts on those exchange servers.

1. Throttling policy

2. Permissions
