Hi All,
We are planning to move our Exchange 2010 databases into new databases, and delete the old ones. What should we do to ensure that the functionality of Enterprise Vault 9.0 is not interrupted.
Thanks in advance.

You will move the mailboxes to another database on an exisiting server ?
Then there is not realy something to take care of, just to be sure I would stop the archiveing process during the mailbox move. When the mailboxes are moved, enable archiving, and test everything.

I would also advice to install SP2 for Exchange 2010 and then install Rollup Pack 1.
This will fix the reclaiming unused space issue in the Exchange database.

Yes on the same server,
even if we change database names there is nothing to do ?

No, EV will update the info when the provisioing task has run, so just to be sure you can start it manualy after the mailbox moves, but this is not a requirement.

Will this apply even when automatically enable mailboxes option is not enabled for provisioning groups. Please note that the default mailbox policies and vault stores are overridden in this case

Mailboxes that are already being archived will continue to archive after the mailbox move.
Just create a new mailbox database, and move 1 mailbox to test.
