Exchange 2010

Wondered if anyone has tried Enterprise Vault with either the Beta or RC version of Exchange 2010 - I know Symantec does not fully support this as yet but I wondered if anyone had tried it and what your results were.

Would be interested in hearing you experiences.

Hopefully no one will have tried it in production.

Testing continues internally, and changes are planned.. no firm details yet unfortunately.

As an FYI a couple of things that you'll lose are :-

a) Journaling -- EV doesn't understand the Exchange 2010 changes in journaling.

b) OWA - EV OWA extensions won't work with OWA 2010

In the absence of an estimated date for full support, is there any "hybrid" configuration that would be supported with the current version of EV? (e.g. the journal mailbox on a dedicated Exchange 2007 mailbox server).
I have a client that is planning a deployment in Q1 next year and EV is the only show stopper.

Don't be disappointed that if Q1 comes and there is no ex 2010 support.....
