Exchange Journalling vs SMTP Journalling

Now that EV 11.0.1 has been released and allows SMTP journaling, is there any benefit in switching from using journal mailboxes to sending directly into EV?

Biggest advantage I can see is capture of emails sent directly through SMTP by various processes that don't get captured by normal Journaling in Exchange.  There might also be some advantage in not having Journal mailboxs/databases/servers, but that is countered by increased SMTP storage capacity in case of system disruptions/failues and increased SMTP servers to handle the load;.

i think its a huge benefit to offload the journaling from Exchange, essentially bypassing the delivery of the messages to a mailbox and the complexities involved with the archiving task and all the related issues.
