Export archived mail from vault

Is there a way to extract all archived mail for a user from the vault?

The requirement is to send all mail for a particular user to a third party.
This would previously have been done by creating a .pst file of the users mailbox.
Now with KVS enabled for users the .pst created contains the shortcut left by KVS and not the full content (as expected).

If EV6, in the administration console, select the archive and right click, there is an option to export the archive to PST, follow the wizard will do.
