Renaming KVS Server

I am in need of renaming one of our KVS EV servers. This is a DR box that has yet to be used. Are there any "gotchas" in renaming a KVS server?

If you haven't used it yet...just delete the server from the site, rename it, and then add it back again. it's the easiest way to be "clean" about it.

I think you can also modify the site properties SQL tables in the directory db to recognize a name change after you do it on the server...but I've never tried it so I wouldn't recommend it.

As long as you use dns aliases when it was installed you should be good to go w/ renaming. Especially in your case since it is a DR box. :)
