Good afternoon.
We recently changed our Shortcut policy and shortcut.txt file. Everything works as expected and now we want to update all the older shortcuts to have the same format.
We have followed the tech article exactly, new reg key, restart services, run in report mode etc... however when I test on one user (mine) nothing changes. There are no errors, just no updated shortcuts. I did an advanced find in Outlook to see if maybe it was just really slow, but 0 shortcuts have been modified.
I may try a server reboot tonight, beyond that I am not sure what else to try, the instructions are pretty simple to setup and follow.
Any tips?

Good morning,
It looks like maybe I was not patient enough or the reboot helped. I let it run for three days and I am seeing the results. I am now trying it for the entire Exchange organization (aprx 300 mailboxes). I wish there was a better way to monitor the progress....

I too wish if there was a better way to monitor the progress for shortcut processing.
I will put this forward as the product enhancement. Lets see what others think about this.
