SetEVExchangePermissions.ps1 - Exchange Management Shell

If you get a funny error message from the script, such as:

[PS] D:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault\PowerShellScripts>.\SetEVExchangePermissions.ps1 -User DOM04\sv_ev -Server
devtest04s01
Ignoring -Server parameter as the script is being run from within Exchange Management Shell
When run locally the script must be executed from within Exchange Management Shell.

then the problem is most likely that you are not running EMS with the correct permissions.
If you execute the command "get-command add-adpermission" and get something like:

Get-Command : The term 'add-adpermission' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable
program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

Then this is definitely a permission issue. Open EMS with correct (Exchange) permissions, and try again ;)
