Standalone to Cluster (MSCS) Conversion on version 11

Hello

Can you please let me know if I can use the Server Migration Wizard version 12 to perform this action. We've used it before on version 10 > version 10 to Standalone to Cluster. 

The documentation for version 12 however keeps mentioning version 11>12, and not 11>11.

Hi, SSMW is supported from EV 11>12 not 11>11 (OR 10>11) as 10>11 OR 11>11 does not require OS change. If you want to convert standalone environment to clustered one then you refer http://www.veritas.com/docs/000102293 Regards Pradeep

Thanks but that note it not clear.

Which option should I follow considering the following. 

EVSERVER1 is standalone

EVSERVER2 and EVSERVER3 are the new nodes in the cluster. 

The note seems to focus on converting (in my scenario) EVSERVER1 to a cluster after you would have added an additional node and configured MSCS on the SAME server (EVSERVER1).

Please advise.

Hi Thanks for the clarification, the option I can think of is to move current EV server to one of the clustered node (http://www.veritas.com/docs/000081331) then convert standalone EV node to clustered instance (http://www.veritas.com/docs/000102293 ) Or the other way is to install EV 12.0.X binary on cluster(both nodes) then migrate (& upgrade) using SSMW. May be we can wait any other better solution for this situation.
