Hi All,
I need to find a solution to un-migrate items from TSM. This was switched one for a very short period for trial and now the solution is being ditched, we need to get the CAB files out.
As there are not too many CABs that have been migrated I'm hoping there might me a way for me to retreive these back to the original location of the CAB as per the Collections table and update to remove any migration information?
I know this is unlikely but I really need a solution here.
Any support greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Chris Colden

We had this discussion awhile back: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/netbackup-migrator-able-un-migrate-tape-back-disk
Looks like you will need to do a manual restore of the CABs and update SQL as JW3 said here: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/netbackup-migrator-able-un-migrate-tape-back-disk#comment-5729201

So get the files back from TSM to the original location and update SQL.
Do you know what I'm updating? I notice that the collection table for CABs which have not been migrated are dont have MigratedFileId or MigratedDate set. Do I just need to clear those entries, or is it more involved than that?
I think I'll also need to remove the TSM config ie make the partition forget that it ever had migration settings so I can then enable the Enterprise Vault migrator to move the CABs to a CIFS share from DataDomain.
Many Thanks
