We are testing EV recovery, after restoring EV Vault Store DB & Partition. Restoration was successful, even after we verified with EVSVR utility; there is no error message.
But we are not able to synchronise vault cache (Synchronisation is failing).
Have anyone tried recovery of EV.

Hi All,
The issue is resolved using following technote. It was related to Index files, which I need to rebuild instead of update as per technote.

EV version is 8 with SP4 & client side using the same with Outlook 2007. I am able to open Archive Explorer from client side & able to open items.
Tried removing vault cache folder from user machine, but still synchronisation fails.
I need to check client logging, but don't know where to check logs for vault cache.

To check client logs as asked above perform the following steps:
- in Outlook press Strg+Shift + left mouse click on any EV button in the menu (like Vault search e.g.)
- EV client diagnostics opens, there you can open the protocol
- if you change the level of logging restart Outlook to make the changes work

Hello Parag
When Outlook is open, and you have Enterprise Vault Icons.
Press CTRL+SHIFT key together. Keep pressed, click on an EV Icon.
This opens a window where you can select loglevel. Select 4.
Click Ok, close and open Outlook. Perform action, do same (CTRL+SHIFT+Icon), click Open Log.
Check.

I have treid CTRL + SHIFT + Left mouse click, but it doesn't show me any EV options.
As per GertjanA, I added DWORD value in registry, now it is not showing me Vault Cache option in Outlook. I will try removing this value tomorrow, whether it synchronise again or not.
