Hello to all,
I'm involved in a upgrade project from 8.0.0 to 9.0.2. I'm rewieving the pre-requisites, and in the upgradre instructions says that I can upgrade from any 8 version to 9. OK, the scenario is good to do the upgrade.
But checking de FSA service version in the FileseServer I can see this:
Version V8.0
File Blocking Driver Version: 7.5.2.1862
File Blocking Driver Date: 01/02/2008 01:04 PM
Placeholder Driver Version: 7.5.2.1862
Placeholder Driver Date: 01/02/2008 01:04 PM
It says that is 8.0 version, but the driver and placeholder 7.5.2. If I do a search in Symantec KB with 7.5.2.1862, the results are talking about EV 2007 SP2.
Thant means that the old EV admin never upgrade the FSA servers to the 8 service version? Should I upgrade the FSA Service to 8 version before upgrade the site to 9.0.2 version?
Thank you!

I would just upgrade the EV servers to v9, and then once at v9 get EV to push out the FSA components itself.
