User unable to open up archived items

Hi,

We have a specific user who is unable to open any archived items.

When the user tries to open an archived item, outlook prompts the user to enter his username and password and when this is done, it gives an error.

Please can someone kindly help.

Is the user logged on with their domain credentials? Are they using the domain credentials when Outlook prompts them?

The user is logged on with their domain credentials.

We got the user to logon to a different machine and the user was able to open up the archived items.

I do not know if there is any specific settings on IE that needs to be changed to open up archive explorer on the specific machine that has issues.

I'm not aware of any specific settings within IE other than making sure the ev server name and aliases are included in the Local Intranet zone of IE.

Have you considered deleting and recreating the user's windows profile?

We logged on as ourselves on the specific machine and it prompts us to enter our domain credentials to get to archive explorer.

Opened up OWA and tried to get to archive explorer it still does the same thing. This is the reason why, I thought it would have something to do with the IE settings not allowing archives to open up.
