changing of http to https for enterprise vault

Will changing from http:/enterprisevault to https:/enterprisevault impact any configuration to the enterprise vault ?

On a fresh installation, or an existing one?

One with FSA, or "just" Exchange Mailbox archiving?  If Exchange which client types are in use (full, lite, etc) and what is the policy relating to the contents of shortcuts?

If you go into the EV Site properties you can change the port there. The help link should provide all the information you need, and includes a note that the change will affect existing shortcuts, so definitely have a read before you make the change
