Hi All

Im running the following EVPM script and receive an error

the below is the contents of script.ini

[Directory]
DirectoryComputerName = EVMATT
SiteName = ENTVAULTSITE

[ArchivePermissions]
ArchiveName = ALL
GrantAccess = read, LAB\MATT

the command entered is
C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault>EVPM -e sitea-evsrv01 -m evservice -f c:\script.ini

the error received is

Creating privileged MAPI session ..

Parsing input file: c:\script.ini
Specified .ini file not found c:\script.ini

The file is located in the c:\ and is named script.ini and is unicode format - is it a problem with the contents of the file ?

I solved this by specifying creating the .ini file on another server - the file type changed to configuration file

then within EVPM i changed the input by adding the full file path instead of just the file name

You need to enter the Exchange server name, not the EV server, and the name of the service mailbox on that Exchange server (not necessarily the EV service account mailbox).

thanks

in the documentation it states

-m mailbox_alias Specifies the name of the Enterprise Vault systemmailbox.

in my case this is evservice

do i need to enter the domain ?

the exchange server name is sitea-evsrv01

I entered it here

C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault>EVPM -e sitea-evsrv01 -m evservice -f c:\script.ini

the full output is

C:\Program Files\Enterprise Vault>EVPM

Just an FYI, if you run EVPM and you put in just the file name and no path, it will look for the ini file in

C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033
