In February, Veritas’ Roseville office hosted a blanket drive supporting Bridging, a Twin Cities-based non-profit dedicated to assisting families transitioning out of homelessness and poverty by providing “the opportunity to turn their houses into homes.” Bridging’s clients are “able to focus on educational and economic opportunities that will forge a path to a brighter future for them and their families,” explains the organization.
Members of #TeamVtas collected 40 blankets for Bridging, receiving the heartening note from one program coordinator: “Your timing couldn’t have been more perfect. This cold and snowy winter has left us very short on blankets.”
