Recently I ran few upgrades to newest NBU family and I did face issues related to Veritas Volume manager few times. Issues I faced are described here:
udid_mismatch
serlial split brain
If you are familaiar with vxvm and have some skills in this regards - these two should have helped you out in sorting these issues out. If you are not familiar with vxvm - please open case with VRTS as it is better to be safe than sorry - the msdp do keep all of your backups...
