All,

I am trying to configure PDDO in our lab, and have run into a ton of errors, I could really use some assistance.

NBU Config:
Windows 2003 Master / Media Server
NBU Version 6.5.3.1

PureDisk Version:
6.5.1

I have updated, removed and reinstalled the PDDO software, and still get the configuration errors.

Current error is D:\Veristas\Netbackup\bin\admincmd\nbdevconfig.exe -creatests -storage_server <puredisk_hostname> -stype PureDisk -media_server <media_server_name> -st 9; retval=20

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Steve,

check if you Have appied the PD License Key to your Master/Media Server.

If you have a PD 6.2 License Key you will need to Upgrade the Key to 6.5. as PDDO does not work with 6.2.

Here are the things that I would want you to check:

-> PD version 6.5
-> Netbackup has license for Openstorage

Configure PDDO manually.
