Can someone tell me if the Best Practice has changed in regards to the number of archives per vault store. I know at one time it was recommended that no more than 5,000 mailboxes be assigned to one vault store.
I have a feeling this has changed somewhat as long as the EV Server is a windows 2008 x64 (using WOW) and has 2 -Quad processors and 36 GB Ram you would think that having 6,000 or 7,000 archives per vault store would be okay.
Your comments would be appreciated.
