Puredisk Mapped Drive Backup Problems

Hi,

 

I am currently experiencing problems backing up mapped drives and using the UNC backup feature of Puredisk 6.5 on Windows clients. 

 

When attempting to back up a mapped drive from a client, the job immediately comes up with a warning that it cannot find the drive specificed in the data selection, and then is closely followed by a failure of the job:

 

Warning: 105: directory name portion of data selection rule 'W:\*|*|I' does not match any existing directory.
Error: 2: there were no data selection rules that matched any existing directory.  Please reconfigure the data selection. 

 

I have followed the puredisk manual in reconfiguring the client service to use an account which is able to see the mapped drive, and also ticked the option in the puredisk policy to back up mapped drives.

 

Does anyone have any ideas or experience similar problems???
