BAR client operation status always keep "Queued"

Hi,

 

I triggered restore job from BAR client (7.1.0.4) on win2k8 r2 machine. The files can be restored and netbackup server shows successful.

Strange things happened...

From view status, the operation status keeps "Queued" and never updates...but the progress log box can show the status up to " INF - TAR PARTIALLY RESTORED 0 FILES" only...

 

Any clue?

Have you closed down the GUI and re-opened to see if it's updated?

Tried but still the same. Nothing updated.

UAC enabled or disabled?

I have seen 'weird and wonderful' things happening on W2008 with UAC enabled.

Try to disable it.

If this is really bugging you, you will need to have a look at logs:

On master: <install-path>\netbackup\logs\bprd (restart NBU to enable this log)

On client: <install-path>\netbackup\logs\user_ops\<user-name>\logs

UAC enabled. But I cannot disable it as it comes from group policy.

From client log, it is the same as the progress log.

I have 8 servers in the same OU and use the same master server. It is really weird that only one server hit this problem...sigh...

 

maybe just leave it as it does not affect the restore...
