BMR recovery fails with "ERROR: Failed to retrieve /tmp/<*>.conf"

Configuration:

Master/Media Server: Windows 2008 SP2, NBU 7.0.1

BMR Boot Server:      HP-UX 11.11, NBU 7.0.1

Client:                       HP-UX 11.11, NBU 7.0.1

Symptom:                 Client boots and mounts SRT but then fails with the following message

Retrieving file /opt/ignite/boot/10.3.100.198.info from 10.3.100.199.
Mounting SRT
ERROR: Failed to retrieve "/tmp/0A0364C6.conf".
Bad $runMode value ""

Bare Metal Restore has failed.
Now, you will be dropped to a shell prompt.
You may reboot the system when you have completed diagnosis.

This exact symptom is addressed in technote TECH55453 (http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH55453), however in this case all network addresses DNS restult etc.are consistent.  A search on both the boot server and master server for the 0A0364C6.conf file returns no results.
My assumption is that this file should be created when "Prepare to Restore" is run but, for some reason the file is not created.  Any assistance or troubleshooting guidance would be welcome

Generally this problem happens when:

1. BMR Prepare To Restore is done with client's one bootable IP and actually client machine is NW booting over another one.

OR

2. BMR Prepare To Restore process finds wrong IP of client during client name-IP resolution. Generally because of invalid /etc/hosts or DNS settings.

Please can you provide o/p of below command run on BMR master server.

bmrs -o query -r database -table restoreconfigfile

I would like to confirm the names of restore and related config files created by BMR Prepare To Restore.

Thanks.

Solved this one.

The NBU Master Server's IP address was resolving incorrectly.  The work around was to create a new configuration where the IP address for the Master Server could be changed
