Backup failing with status code 6

Backup failing with status code 6 for sap brbackup running using bcv for one of the multipled backups.

Please give us more information - it this your first attempt - have they ever worked - have they suddently stopped working?

Also the text from the detail tab of the jobs and any logs you may have gathered

And of course the version and patch level of NBU on Master / Media / Client

You really need to give us more info about your backup method.

Are you using the NBU Snapshot Client feature interacting with EMC BCV snapshots? 
Backing up using alternate client?

Please share as much info as possible about backup method.
Share backup script as well NBU policy output:
bppllist <policy-name> -L

Also share all text in Details tab of failed job and the backup script output file.

The backup has been failing for one multiplixed backup from the day we configured.This remains the same for the other two policies which have lesser streams enabled.

one job is failing for all the similar policies

Please tell us more about the reference to 'bcv'?

Tell us exactly how the 'bcv' backup is prepared/initiated, etc?

We can only attempt to provide assistance if we understand your process.

The policy does not contain a backup script or automatic schedule.
This means that the backup is kicked off on the client by some process/script/cron/3rd-party scheduler?

We are using the R2 clone devices to mount on netbackup media servers as original filesystems using third party script. The script in media servers calls another file in the original host where the number of multiplexed stream is mentioned.

That is matched to the value in netbackup.

Will share the script soon.
