Backup images are didn't expire even after crossed expiration date

Hi All,

I have recently did backup image audit in our environment and noticed that some of the backup images are still showing client backup report with the expiration date in 2013 & 2014 .

Master server : NBU 7.5.0.7 ( Win 2008R2)

STU - Tape & Disk

Is anyone experienced the same issue and if any soultion in place for this issue?

Please post the command and output / report you used to get this information.

Check if those images are on tapes that are frozen. 

When you unfreeze those tapes backups should expires within 12 hours.

Can you see Image Cleanup job in Activity Moitor every 12 hours?
Does it complete with Status 0?

Check if there is a NOexpire file in  <install path>\Netbackup\bin.
This file will prevent image expiration.
