I'm still looking for maximizing my LTO drives' throughput. Setting DATA_BUFFER_SZ = 256 kB and NUMBER_DATA_BUFFER = 16 I get 30 MB/s with LTO2 and 40 MB/s with LTO3 (You shoud know this should 80 MB/s according to datasheets). When I upgraded my NBU 6.0 MP6 to NBU 6.5 there was a problem with all of this: Failed backups with a message "check data buffers". This is from my Windows 2003 Master Server.
Any idea how to tune my drives (LTO2, 3 and coming LTO4) without affecting NBU 6.5?
